The WordPress plugin called WP Editor.md, which is used for formatting text on WordPress websites, has a security issue that can put websites at risk. This issue, known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting, allows attackers with high-level permissions to add harmful code to pages on the website. This can happen on multi-site installations and on sites where a certain security measure has been disabled.
