Authentication vulnerability in InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration 0.1.0.44

A popular plugin for WordPress, InstaWP Connect, has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to access the site. This is because the plugin does not properly check the API key, which is like a password. This means that someone who doesn’t have permission to log in could potentially log in as an administrator and do things like change settings on the site. Although the plugin makers have tried to fix the issue, it is still possible for attackers to exploit it.
