A plugin called AS Password Field in Default Registration Form for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to take over user accounts. This happens because the plugin does not check a user’s identity before changing their password. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to change passwords for any user, even administrators, and use that to gain access to their account.
