Access violation vulnerability in HT Mega – Absolute Addons For Elementor 2.2.1

The HT Mega plugin for WordPress is a piece of software that is vulnerable to a security issue called Missing Authorization. This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 2.2.0 of the plugin. The issue is caused by the lack of validation of the reg_role parameter on the htmega_ajax_register function. This means that unauthenticated attackers can create administrator accounts.
