Input validation vulnerability in Register IPs 1.8.1

The Register IPs plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack can be used to inject malicious web scripts into pages on the WordPress website. These malicious scripts can be executed whenever a user visits the page. This vulnerability is present in versions of the plugin prior to 1.8.1 because of a lack of input sanitization and output escaping.
