The Animated Number Counters plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in versions 1.6 and below. This vulnerability allows anyone with editor-level access or higher to add malicious code to pages which will activate when a user visits that page. This happens because the plugin does not properly check the data that goes into it and does not protect against malicious code.
