Input validation vulnerability in Elementor Website Builder Pro 3.20.1

The Elementor Website Builder Pro plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to insert harmful code in web pages. This can be done through the use of a widget’s custom ID in versions up to 3.20.1. The problem is caused by not properly filtering and controlling user input. This means that attackers who have contributor-level or higher permissions can add their own code to a page, which will then run when someone visits that page.
