Input validation vulnerability in WP Statistics 2.2.4

The WP Statistics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Scripting (also known as XSS) in versions up to 2.2.4. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious code into a website, which can then be executed in the victim’s browser. This type of attack can be prevented by properly sanitizing input data and properly escaping output data.
