Access violation vulnerability in Classified Listing – Classified ads & Business Directory Plugin 3.1.15.1

A plugin called “Classified Listing” for WordPress has a security issue where unauthorized people can change important information. This can give them more power than they should have, making it possible for them to take control of a website. The problem is caused by a mistake in the “rtcl_import_settings” function, and it affects all versions up to 3.1.15.1. People with a Subscriber account or higher can exploit this vulnerability to make changes to the website, including giving themselves Administrator-level access. The issue is not too serious because the changed information must be in a specific format, but it is still a concern.
