Input validation vulnerability in Arena.IM – Live Blogging for real-time events 0.3.0

The Arena.IM – Live Blogging for real-time events plugin for WordPress has a security issue. This issue is called Stored Cross-Site Scripting and it affects all versions up to and including 0.3.0. This happens because the plugin does not properly clean up user input and output, allowing attackers with contributor access or higher to insert harmful web scripts into pages. This can cause these scripts to run whenever someone views the page with the injected code.
