A popular plugin for WordPress called “LionScripts: Site Maintenance & Noindex Nofollow” has a security issue that could allow attackers to make harmful changes to a website. This is because the plugin does not properly check for a special code, called a “nonce,” which helps prevent these types of attacks. If an attacker can trick a website administrator into clicking on a link, they can use this vulnerability to change settings and add malicious code to the website.
