Input validation vulnerability in Photos, Files, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Ecommerce Contest Gallery – Upload, Vote, Sell via PayPal or Stripe, Social Share Buttons 26.0.6

A plugin for WordPress called “Contest Gallery” has a security issue where attackers can insert harmful code using the “id” parameter. This can happen in all versions up to 26.0.6 because the plugin does not properly check the input and remove any harmful code. This allows attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to add their own code to a page, which will run whenever someone visits that page.
