The Newspaper plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting which affects all versions up to 10.3.3. This means that an unauthenticated attacker can inject malicious web scripts into pages and if a user clicks on a link, the malicious scripts will run. This happens because the plugin does not sufficiently sanitize user input or escape output.
