Input validation vulnerability in Survey Maker – Best WordPress Survey Plugin 1.5.6

The Survey Maker WordPress plugin before version 1.5.6 had a problem with its get_results() and get_items() functions. These functions did not properly check the orderby parameter before using it in the SQL statements that were sent to the database. This allowed someone to make changes in the admin dashboard that could lead to a type of cyber attack called SQL injection.
