Input validation vulnerability in BackWPup – WordPress Backup Plugin 1.7.1

The BackWPup plugin before version 1.7.2 for WordPress contained a security vulnerability which allowed malicious attackers to run arbitrary code on a website. This code was executed by using a URL in the ‘wpabs’ parameter of the ‘wp_xml_export.php’ file.
