The HTML5 Audio Player is a popular plugin for WordPress websites that allows users to play audio files. However, it has a security vulnerability that could potentially be exploited by hackers. This vulnerability, known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting, allows hackers to inject harmful code into the plugin’s widgets. This code can then be executed when a user accesses a page that contains the injected code. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to version 2.2.19 and can only be exploited by authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher.
