Access violation vulnerability in Download Manager 2.8.8

The Download Manager plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in versions up to 2.8.7. This vulnerability allows attackers who are not logged in to access and read the files located in a specific directory. This happens because a function called “wpdm_dir_tree” is called when WordPress is initializing. It is important to update the Download Manager plugin to a version higher than 2.8.7 to protect against this vulnerability.
