The WP Statistics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This means that in versions of the plugin up to and including 8.4, it does not have enough protection against unauthorized people trying to inject malicious web scripts into pages. If a user visits one of these pages, the malicious code will run.
