Input validation vulnerability in Layer Slider 1.1.9.7

The Layer Slider plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This issue affects versions up to and including 1.1.9.7. It happens when insufficient input sanitization and output escaping fails to protect users from malicious scripts being inserted into pages. This means that attackers with access to contributor-level accounts and above can inject any web script into pages that will then be executed as soon as a user views the page.
