Access violation vulnerability in Brizy – Page Builder 2.4.44

The Brizy – Page Builder plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows unauthorized changes to be made to data. This is because the ‘update_item’ function does not have a capability check in all versions up to and including 2.4.44. This means that people with contributor access or higher can change the content of any published post, including adding harmful JavaScript code.
