Access violation vulnerability in NitroPack – Caching & Speed Optimization for Core Web Vitals, Defer CSS & JS, Lazy load Images and CDN 1.18.4

The NitroPack plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized changes to be made to its data. This is because the plugin does not have a safeguard in place to prevent changes to the nitropack_set_compression_ajax() function. This vulnerability exists in all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.18.4. As a result, attackers who have at least Subscriber-level access can modify the nitropack-enableCompression option, which can potentially alter the compression settings of the plugin.
