The NEX-Forms plugin for WordPress, which helps create contact forms and more, has a security issue that allows unauthorized access. This is because a certain function, set_read(), does not have a check to make sure only authorized users can use it. As a result, attackers who are logged in with subscriber-level access or higher can mark records as read without permission.
