Input validation vulnerability in BP Profile Search 5.5

The BP Profile Search plugin for WordPress has a security issue called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This can happen when the ‘BPS_FORM’ parameter is used in versions up to 5.5, as it doesn’t properly clean the input and output. As a result, attackers who are not logged in can add harmful code to pages that will be executed if a user falls for their trick, such as clicking on a link.
