Input validation vulnerability in WordPress CRM, Email & Marketing Automation for WordPress | Award Winner — Groundhogg 2.7.9.8

The Groundhogg plugin for WordPress, which is used to improve website performance, has a security vulnerability in versions up to and including 2.7.9.8. If an attacker is able to trick an administrator into clicking a link, they can enable a special mode called “safe mode” which disables all other plugins. This is possible because the plugin does not have proper validation to stop unauthenticated attackers. A warning message about safe mode will be displayed to the admin, but this can be disabled.
