The File Manager Pro – Filester plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to upload any type of file onto a website using the plugin. This means that if someone with the right permissions, like an Administrator, gives access to a Subscriber-level user, they can upload a dangerous file called .htaccess that could let them take control of the website.
