Input validation vulnerability in Simple Table Manager 1.5.6

The Simple Table Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyberattack known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 1.5.6 due to a lack of safeguards which protect the security of the data. This type of attack allows an attacker with administrator-level permissions on a website to inject malicious code into webpages. The malicious code will then be executed whenever any user visits the injected page. This vulnerability only affects multi-site installations and installations where a specific security feature, known as unfiltered_html, has been disabled.
