Input validation vulnerability in Ultimate Dashboard – Custom WordPress Dashboard 3.8.5

The “Ultimate Dashboard” add-on for WordPress has a security issue in versions up to 3.8.6. This is because it doesn’t properly clean up user input and output, which leaves it open to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This means that someone with administrator-level access or higher can insert harmful code into certain pages. This only affects websites with multiple installations or where certain security settings have been turned off.
