The Stop Spammers Security plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to manipulate the plugin’s allowlist and blocklist. This vulnerability affects all versions up to 2024.4 and is caused by a lack of proper validation on a specific action. Attackers can exploit this by tricking a site administrator into clicking on a link, granting them access to add arbitrary IPs to the plugin’s lists.
