Input validation vulnerability in Parallax Image 1.7.1

The Parallax Image plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in all versions up to 1.7.1. If someone with contributor-level or higher permissions uses the plugin’s shortcode, it is possible to inject web scripts into a page which will execute whenever a user accesses it. This is due to a lack of input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes.
