The Hide My WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack allows someone to inject malicious code into a website, which can then be executed in the browser of anyone visiting the website. The plugin versions up to and including 4.51.1 are vulnerable to this attack due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping.
