Input validation vulnerability in WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic) 5.7

The WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic) plugin for WordPress has a problem. It can be used by unauthenticated attackers to get information from the WordPress database that is supposed to be secret. This can be done with versions of the plugin up to and including 5.7 because the plugin does not do enough to make sure the user-supplied information is secure and the existing SQL query is not prepared properly.
