Input validation vulnerability in EmbedPress – Embed PDF, YouTube, Google Docs, Vimeo, Wistia Videos, Audios, Maps & Any Documents in Gutenberg & Elementor 3.8.4

The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress has an issue that makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to trigger a notice being clicked on. This issue is present in all versions of the plugin up to and including version 3.8.3. This is because the plugin does not have a system in place to validate the request when the clicked() function is used. If an attacker is able to get a site administrator to click a link, they can cause the notice to be triggered.
