Input validation vulnerability in Wordfence Security – Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security 5.2.3

The Wordfence plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack happens when a hacker injects malicious code into a website that is not properly secured. In the case of Wordfence, versions up to 5.2.2 are vulnerable to this type of attack because of a lack of security measures to protect the website. This means that once the malicious code has been injected, it will automatically execute whenever a user visits the affected page.
