Input validation vulnerability in Premium SEO Pack – WP SEO Plugin 1.6.001

The Premium SEO Pack plugin for WordPress has a security flaw that makes it vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called SQL Injection. This vulnerability is present in versions 1.6.001 and below. The issue is caused by not properly handling a user input and not preparing the SQL query properly. This means that attackers who have contributor-level access or higher can add their own malicious code to existing SQL queries, which can then be used to retrieve sensitive information from the website’s database.
