The Download Monitor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue. This issue makes it possible for people with access to a WordPress site to upload files to the server. These files could contain malicious code which could be used to take control of the site. To protect against this, it is important to make sure all users of the plugin update to the latest version, which is 4.8.3.
