Input validation vulnerability in Slider, Gallery, and Carousel by MetaSlider – Image Slider, Video Slider 3.92.0

A popular plugin for WordPress called MetaSlider, which helps to display images and videos on a website, has a security issue. This issue, known as Cross-Site Request Forgery, affects all versions up to 3.92.0. Basically, this means that the plugin does not properly check for a special code that ensures a legitimate user is making changes to the website. As a result, hackers could potentially trick a website administrator into unknowingly performing an action, such as clicking on a link, that could cause harm to the website. The extent of the damage caused by this vulnerability is currently unknown.
