Input validation vulnerability in Modern Events Calendar 7.12.1

The Modern Events Calendar add-on for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to make requests to other websites. This can be done by using a function called ‘mec_fes_form’ through the plugin’s AJAX feature. The vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 7.12.1. Attackers who have at least Subscriber-level access to the website can exploit this vulnerability to access and change information from other services.
