Input validation vulnerability in VDZ Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager / GTM 1.5.5

The VDZ Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager / GTM plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack could allow attackers to inject malicious web scripts in pages that are viewed by other users. The vulnerability is present in versions of the plugin up to and including version 1.5.5 and is a result of inadequate security measures in how the plugin handles user input and output.
