Input validation vulnerability in WP MapIt 2.7.1

The WP MapIt plugin for WordPress has an issue that could allow someone with malicious intent to inject malicious code into a page. This can happen if an attacker has access to the page with the WP MapIt plugin installed with at least contributor-level permission. This malicious code can execute when someone views the page, and can cause harm to the user who views the page. To protect yourself from this attack, it is important to update the WP MapIt plugin to the latest version, as all versions up to and including 2.7.1 are vulnerable.
