Input validation vulnerability in Newsletter – Send awesome emails from WordPress 7.8.9

The Newsletter plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that could potentially allow attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions to inject malicious web scripts into pages which will execute whenever a user accesses them. This vulnerability is present in versions up to and including 7.8.9, due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes in the ‘newsletter_form’ shortcode.
