Input validation vulnerability in Relevanssi – A Better Search 3.6.1

The Relevanssi plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of attack called SQL Injection. This type of attack is possible in versions up to and including 3.6.0 of the plugin because the plugin does not do enough to protect user supplied data and the SQL queries used in the plugin are not properly prepared. This means that someone with administrative privileges can use the vulnerability to access data stored in the database that should not be accessible.
