The Appointment Booking Calendar and Scheduling Plugin for WordPress, called BookingPress, has a security issue. This is because the ‘category’ parameter in the ‘bookingpress_form’ shortcode is not properly protected and the SQL query is not prepared properly. This means that hackers who have Contributor-level access or higher can add their own SQL queries to extract sensitive information from the database.
