The Simple Ticker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack can happen when the plugin is used in versions 3.05 or earlier. This type of attack allows an attacker with special privileges to insert malicious code into a page that will run when someone visits that page.
