Input validation vulnerability in WordPress 3.6.1

WordPress Core is a software system that is vulnerable to a type of attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This type of attack occurs when an attacker with access to the theme customizer (such as an administrator) is able to inject malicious JavaScript into the page by editing the ‘Blog Name’ value without proper escaping. This vulnerability affects versions of WordPress up to and including 6.0.3.
