Input validation vulnerability in Herd Effects – fake notifications and social proof plugin 5.2.3

The Herd Effects plugin for WordPress has a security issue that affects certain versions, including 5.2.2. This problem could let someone with administrator-level permissions inject malicious web scripts into pages. This would cause the scripts to run whenever a user looks at the page. This only affects WordPress sites that have multiple sites or have disabled a certain website security setting.
