Input validation vulnerability in Author Avatars List/Block 2.1.16

The Author Avatars List/Block plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that affects versions up to 2.1.16. This vulnerability can be exploited by attackers who have access to the website with ‘contributor-level’ access or higher. It allows them to inject malicious web scripts into pages on the website which will then be executed when a user visits any of the affected pages. This is possible because the plugin does not properly filter and escape input and output.
