Input validation vulnerability in Seriously Simple Stats 1.5.1

The Seriously Simple Stats plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to an attack called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to 1.5.1. This means that unauthenticated attackers can inject web scripts in pages that can execute if a user is tricked into clicking on a link. This is possible because the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape input and output.
