Input validation vulnerability in W3 Total Cache 2.1.4

The W3 Total Cache WordPress plugin before version 2.1.4 had a security vulnerability that could have allowed someone to take control of an entire website. This vulnerability was a type of Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) that was present in the “”extension”” parameter of the Extensions dashboard. An attacker could have tricked an administrator into clicking a link and running malicious JavaScript on their web browser
