The WP Maintenance Mode & Coming Soon plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in all versions up to 2.4.4. This means that someone who is not authorized can use special techniques to empty the subscriber list and reset the plugin’s settings without being allowed to do so. All it takes is for a site administrator to be tricked into clicking on a malicious link.
