Access violation vulnerability in Homey Login Register 2.4.0

The Homey Login Register plugin for WordPress has a security issue that affects all versions up to and including 2.4.0. The problem is that the plugin allows new users to choose their own role when registering. This means that attackers who are not logged in can create an account with admin privileges.
